The lakefront homes are the distinctive job. Large glass elevations facing the water, often two storeys, and constant humidity off the lake that keeps a film on the glass and encourages growth on shaded hardscape and north-facing walls.
The prevailing Mediterranean and Spanish architecture also means a lot of stucco and tile, which rules out aggressive pressure. Soft washing at low pressure is the only sensible approach on these surfaces.
